The beauty of a bookstore

Today I found myself in Borders. I began to think about how much I love bookstores. I absolutely love the fact that I can walk through the aisles and see an assortment of brand new books. I like the smell of brand new books.

How long will these bookstores last? With devices such as the iPad, Kindle and other smart devices I imagine that book sales are decreasing, which is really too bad. I don't want to see bookstores start to go under like record stores or video rental businesses…
